John Bundren

Head of Operations

Although finding his niche in operations, John originally comes from an Accounting/Finance background. He graduated from the Professional Program in Accounting at Texas A&M with an undergraduate in Accounting and masters degrees in Finance. While at Texas A&M, John was involved in the Business Honors Program, Brotherhood of Christian Aggies, and Aggie Men's Volleyball Club. 

 

After graduating from A&M, John spent his first year out of school in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young and finished his CPA license during that time. Soon after EY, John landed at AppDynamics, a software subsidiary of Cisco Technologies, where he took on various operations roles across Deal Desk, Renewals, and Customer Experience (CX). Most recently, he was the Director of CX Revenue Operations where he brought his financial acumen and operational/analytical mind together to deliver value for the team of 400+ people. 

 

John enjoys seeing/understanding the big picture, then figuring out how to break that down to simple and clear processes for his team. He loves the mantra that "nothing inspires like clarity" coined by Adam Tarnow. He strives for clarity in communication, clarity in processes, and clarity in expectation. 

 

When he's not nerding out over numbers, processes, or leadership podcasts, you can find John doing house renovations and spending time with his wife, Chandler, in Fort Worth. She's easily the coolest Bundren and way more fun to be around (says John himself).
